We’ve been a bit delayed at releasing the next site update, but we wanted to give you a sneak peek at the new run log interface. Some details may change, but this should give you a good sense of where we’re heading. Send us feedback if you’ve got it! We love hearing from you.

So here’s how it works.

• You select a route from your ‘My Routes’ menu and click ‘Log a Run’.
  
• Then, you just enter your finishing time, change the date if need to, enter some notes, and hit ‘Save’.
• The ‘Motivation’ slider lets you record how you felt and lets you see your progress and which days seem better for you to run.
  

We had some problems this morning when our hosting service made some server changes without notifying us(!). After some server wrangling, we’re back up and in full service.

RunThere beta is now one month old. So far, we’ve got more than 140 registered users creating their own routes. But there’s so much more waiting to be released. Pretty soon, you’ll be able to start a running log, create a personal profile to share your favorite runs, and much more. We’ve received lots of wonderful feedback and bug reports and we try to fix them as they come in.

Here are some things to look for in the next few weeks:

• Personal running log
• Renaming + removing routes from ‘My Routes’
• User profiles (with photo)
• Canadian city finder
• UK postal code + city finder
