The ING Georgia Marathon will take place on Sunday, March 21st. The start and finish points are located at Centennial Olympic Park in downtown Atlanta. The course will travel through Atlanta’s most interesting and historic areas including the Sweet Auburn District, Inman Park, Decatur, Druid Hills, Virginia-Highlands, and Midtown. For the 3rd consecutive year, this Boston qualifier marathon has been named a Championship race by Road Runners Club of America.
Kids also get to share in the excitement and fun of a race at the 2nd annual Publix Run Wild 5K & Kids Fun Run in Grant Park on Saturday. Participants in the 5K and Kids Fun Run will be able to make it a family fun day with discounted Zoo Atlanta tickets.
The American Cancer Society DetermiNation program will be hosting an inspirational pre-race dinner to honor the DetermiNation athletes participating in the ING Georgia and the people they are racing for. Registration for the marathon is open till March 17th. For more information,
